Visit Hong Kong

It's been one photo a day for one year for Hong Kong Daily Photo. Congratulations Lisi! Please visit Lisi and leave her a footprint. Although I've never been to Hong Kong before, I was racking my brain trying to think of what I could show in San Diego that would be a little like Hong Kong. I happened to come across this restaurant that says it all. San Diegans, what reminds you of Hong Kong in our city?

Felicia, this is so sweet and thank you very much! Maybe I should go check out that place next time I'm in SD! (I'm hoping in May)

I've been eating at the Hong Kong for at least 20 years. It's the bestest for apres-cinema chow.

But actually, Emerald at the south end of Convoy Street may be more Hong-Kongy. It's a much larger place and the waitresses wheel around carts with yummy things to tempt you with. I think of that as typically Hong Kong; am I right Lisi?
