Whaling Wall #64

This is #64 in a series of Whaling Walls by Wyland. This mural called "San Diego Migration" was painted in 1994 when he made a West Coast tour (Anchorage, Vancouver, Seattle, Newport, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and ending in Mexico City) painting 13 murals in less than 8 weeks. There are currently 93 Whaling Walls around the world and the artist plans to have painted 100 murals by 2008.

I come to your site every day to see San Diego through your eyes. I have a friend who moved there a couple years ago and I miss him terribly. It is nice to be able to see parts of your city and think of him.
