Scripps Pier
I never intended to end up at the Scripps Pier tonight, but I felt that since I showed you photos first of the Santa Fe Depot, then of the new Museum of Contemporary Art buildings downtown, that I should at least try to show you what the light projection fuss was all about. Well, let's just say that my night photography skills need some work and a tripod. So instead of being able to show you the light projection project by Jenny Holzer, you get this view of the pier.

No complaints from me, this is gorgeous!
Great photo, Felicia! Gets me thinking, if it isn't about time to visit California again! :-)
Woow... so beautiful!!! The moon over there is just fantastic! Great photo!! :)
superbe, des photos qui font toujours leurs effets par la beauté des couleurs.bravo
superb, of the photographs which always make their effects by the beauty of the couleurs.bravo
you're too humble , felicia..this is fantastic, really!
I prefer your photo to the Projection Project. Just the reflecting pier alone would have been a fantastic shot...but the detail at the top really puts me over the moon!!!
Wonderful shot, thank you!
Thanks everyone, I'm just glad that something came out of this trip! Chris & Deb, I did take photos of the light projecting from the pier and considered posting one of those photos but it was horrible and grainy. Your night photos of Minneapolis are so awesome, any tips?
Felicia, this is superb photo...I like the composition plus the color...really great shot!
Such a beautiful sky. You're far too modest.
