Freeways merge

This coming Tuesday is election day. I still have a lot of homework to do. I had wanted to research the issues and then take a photo of something that I thought related to the issue. Well, I didn't get around to that, but I had this photo and it made me think of Proposition 1A. This Prop asks if we want to change the State's Constitution to make sure that money from gas taxes only go toward supporting transportation, instead of, for example, education or health care. What do you think?

Education is very big issue for me. Classes to large and myriad other problems. But as our country's population keeps expanding, we need to maintain our highways since we refuse to give up our love affair with autos. Your picture reminds me that we are becoming a nation of concrete, or so it seems.

with high profit earnings in some major gas companies, i'm sure the tax money would be sufficient to be allocated between the sectors you mentioned.

Education and health care are taking a back seat everywhere. It's so sad that we have to decide whether roads come before health and education.

this is a hard one - I guess it depends - how is the state of your transportation system, of health care, of education? If Transportation is doing fine or mediocre but the healthcare is falling to pieces, I think it would be worthwhile to putting money into the healthcare but if that is fine and education is in a disarray than I would suppose attention should be given to that - I suppose I am suggesting that money whould not be locked into one thing exclusively but given to the immediate needs of the population it will help.
