Now entering...

California is so sprawling that sometimes when you are driving around you are unsure where a city/town/neighborhood begins. Some of the older neighborhoods in San Diego have these big signs (that light up at night) to indicate the district.

This reminds me...next time you are in the area and have a moment could you please get a shot of the Corvette Diner? I forgot to get one this summer and my daughter is sad. We have a lot of fond memories of that place. (although we weren't so impressed this year)

Thanks everyone. Stu, I haven't been to the Moroccan bistro but I'll read the review and check it out - thanks for the tip. This photo was taken early in the morning - maybe a Thursday or Friday when I work in Hillcrest. Sad about the planned high-rise (I've seen their "urban living" advertising) - maybe they should consider building a parking garage too. Susan, I'll put on my earplugs and get some pics of Corvette Diner.
