Felicia, I just loved these photos from the dancing at the Pow-Wow. This one is especially wonderful, and I love the effect of the slight blur at the edges. Nicely composed and super colors!

that's a great shot...Felicia I just notice today (;p) that this blog is "In honor of Jane Emerson, long-time San Diego resident and activist"! Has that been in your title banner from the very beginning?

Thanks everyone. I think this was the best of the series. We take hundreds of photos and only a few, if any, come out okay. Lisi-if you happen to stop by, I've been on my "slow" computer the last few days and am not able to load your page. Yes, my banner has been the same from the beginning - Jane Emerson is my grandmother. She passed away in 2002. She would have liked the DP idea, and that is if she had had a computer!

I love the soft/blurry effect on the edges too. I also take hundreds of photos with the hope of at least one being blog worthy. :) —San Antonio DP
