Ferry and map

A ferry goes from downtown San Diego to Coronado several times daily for $2.75 each way, 50 cents extra to bring your bike. This map is helpful to show us the various birds and sea animals in our bay.

I guess thats not bad a price when you consider the view and riding on water!

Facts from wikipedia: For most of its life the Coronado Bay Bridge was a toll bridge, collecting a dollar for every vehicle that crossed it westbound. The toll was abolished in 2002 as by then the bridge had been amortized. The maximum height is 200ft.

Yes, the ferry crossing is quite a delight. My friends and I like to take the ferry in the evening and dine at one of the Coronado restaurants that offer fine views of the downtown skyline. The delay in getting back to the other side is good for sobering up, too.
