A day at the races
Only 10 more days and the racing season at the Del Mar racetrack will be over. This yearly event creates a lot of excitment and draws crowds of people from all walks of life, not just the betting types. The last time I went was 17 years ago when I turned 18. You are not allowed to bet unless you are over 21. Every Friday there is also a free rock concert following the races - the last concert of the season is this Friday, September 1st.

Nice picture. I love horses and the houses in the back give a very special look to the photo. You say there are rock concerts after the races? Poor horses. I imagine they must get very afraid of the noise!
The last time I was at Del Mar my girlfriend won three hundred and some dollars on a two dollar bet! Fun times!
