Shell castles
A decorative front yard in the Point Loma area. There was also a statue of the Virgin Mary surrounded by shells, but that photo didn't come out so well. I felt like any minute the occupants were going to come out of their house and tell me to get lost.
Oh, I'm sure they must expect people to stop and admire!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome, any way you can email me the address :)
ReplyDeleteI wonderd if I read that right - shell castles - thats something new- I wonder how long it took to make these and how sturdy they are - they look like they took a bit of time to make!
ReplyDeleteIt makes me think to the scultures of Le Facteur Cheval in the south of France...(www.facteurcheval.com)
ReplyDeletethe time they must've spent on these. i agree with luggi, they probably love the attention. I wonder what they look like during christmas?
ReplyDeleteThanks to all for stopping by. Stu - thanks for sharing this background info, and Edwin, I'm looking forward to Christmas! Alice, wow, Le Facteur Cheval is incredible!
ReplyDeleteI would think that with a front yard like this that they are used to photo takers! Very cool.
