Little Sacré Coeur
Eric in Paris and Edwin in Kuala Lumpur inspired me to try more night shots. My "tripod" for this photo was a mailbox across the street from Sacred Heart Catholic church in Ocean Beach.

Stunning!
You might get a similar shot of the bell tower at La Mesa First United Methodist next time you're at Marios.
Just found your blog by following a comment you made at Heather Balagh's blog. I like your photos, and this one's definitely a keeper. Even with a handy mailbox tripod, it took an awfully steady hand. Very nice shot.
Beautiful shot! I lov it!
looking good! now i'm tempted to try as well :)
you have taken the night shot of night shots! the colour and composition is stunning (to say the least) And what is that spherical light? a falling moon? a street lamp? whatever. This is fab! And all you needed was a mailbox ;)
nice shot. i like how you have the moon in the background
Good thing that mail box was strategically placed for you to capture this beautiful church and the moon in the background! Stunning.
A very nice effect, Felicia! I love the black, golds, and sepias. I hope you'll shoot more of these nightscapes. There are so many lovely places in SD that are lighted at night. You really captured the flavor of the region in this one. Edwin mentioned he's shooting in RAW now. I think I'd like to try that, too, as well as a night shot.
That is a great shot.... I should try this more my self
Night shots are so special, and this one is a keeper!
I very much appreciate your nice comments and continue to be inspired by all of the great photographers in our DP group!
