Rock 'n' Roll Marathon

Congratulations to my husband Robert and my friend Carla for finishing the San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon today!!! You are so awesome! A marathon is 26.2 miles/42 kilometers...this is a long, long, long way. There were over 20,000 runners and walkers participating. What is special about this marathon is that there are bands singing and playing music at every mile to encourage the runners along. Above is a picture of the band Global Party keeping the beat for runners.

Felicia! That is so awesome they finished the marathon - I don't know how I would have faired. The weather looks perfect for it - nice and cooooool. We have a marathon here too minus the musicians. The spectator support you have there is awesome.

Felicia forgot to mention something, which is that I would have never been able to finish it or even start without her support and love.
This blog is just an illustration of what a wonderful wife I have.
I love you Boiby!!!

Thanks for your comments!
Liz - this is an amazing logistical event because there are 26 bands along the way.
Kris - yes, the weather was perfectly foggy until about noon.
Nicolas - me either, I was tired just watching everyone run.
BobSF - de rien. Je t'aime!
Carla - de nada. You did great!
