Tree with red flowers
When you see this tree in person, it will make you turn your head and stare in amazement. I took several photos and I found that I wasn't really able to capture it's stunning beauty. The red hot flowers make a striking contrast to its bare brown branches. Anyone know its name (I don't)?
Felicia! Such an amazing photo and unusual plant - i could find out for you if you really want to know - I know people who work as botanist - but you will have to wait a week - amazing red rich color!
I'm thinking it might be a coral tree (or related). My parents (who live in the San Diego area) have a Coral Tree in their backyard. The flowers look slightly different, but very similar!
I have a couple of photos of their tree and the flowers on my blog or you can search the net for pictures of coral trees:)
