Pelican electrical box
Another one of these neat-o electrical boxes. This one sits at a busy intersection in Point Loma. The community of Point Loma is on a small peninsula - the Pacific Ocean on one side and San Diego Bay on the other. I took this picture of the downtown view from this fishing/boating neighborhood.
Oooh, cool. Ours look like cardboard boxes somebody misplaced somewhere, usually with loads of silly graffiti on them. Yours is just great!!! Please send the painters to Germany, we really need them! =)
Thanks everyone. I completely agree these boxes are much better than plain ones. It is also a nice way for local artists to show their work. I'll continue to post more of these from time to time.
Thanks for your comment Heather. You are right, there are some good ones (and a lot too) in Hillcrest. I'll get there...can you think of one that you really like? I'll try to get a pic and post it.

I love it!!! So much better than the plain green boxes we have here.
Nice decoration for an electrical box!
I am going to send this to our utility company. We deserve something better than grey with numbers. Love it!
Its a great idea - our electrical boxes can do with a little bit of paint!

I love it when they do this, there are a few good ones in Hillcrest (my neighborhood)
