Bamboo graffiti/tagged

Besides the wonderful animal exhibits, the San Diego Zoo has as many trees and plants as a botanical garden. This photo was taken at the entrance of the Sun Bear exhibit at the Zoo. Many of the areas are landscaped with the animals' habitat in mind, this one is modeled after a Southeast Asian rain forest. Unfortunately, some people find ways to ruin things - even plants! Check out a better use of bamboo at Lisi's Hong Kong DP.

I wish they would of chosen to express their love on something that isn't living if they really feel the need too....

such as a piece of paper or simply telling the other one to their face.... ERR pisses me off

I'm an ex-San Diegan who now lives in Brisbane, Australia.

I've just found your site and love it...though it makes me miss home (and the Mexican food)!

I've posted a link.

Great photo...too bad people can't find other ways to express their creativeness, and they choose the bamboo instead to witness it...

Yeah, thinking of how long this must have taken to carve out - so ridiculous! I say, Keep it to yourself Tyler (and other defacers)!
Thanks for the link Aaron G - come back on Fridays for more Mexican food!
