Garden tranquility

For Easter, we spent our afternoon in our Grandma Mary's garden. She has lots of thriving plants and this tranquil koi pond. The kids followed the fish from one end of the pond to the other trying to get a closer look. Hope you had a restful and happy Sunday!

Lovely photograph, Felicia. I wonder why fish are so relaxing, but it's true, they are. You see tanks in doctor's waiting rooms, after all - and airports. There is a massive aquarium at Nice airport that keeps us all calm before we fly or whilst waiting for someone to arrive.

Happy Easter Monday!

gosh your grandma has the most pimpin garden - that is some large Koi fishes! The kids must always get excited knowing they are going to her house!

Those fish are beautiful. I have seen them get very large in Japan at the Imperial moat around the palace but these are close to their size. The pond of water must be huge and deep to support this size.

Thank you for coming to my blog and taking a look at the hummingbird. I thought I might see your photos here of the one you took a picture of.

Lovely photo, so tranquil.

I used to have fish but a heron came and ate them for breakfast.
